Director of Communications/Admissions, Marian Catholic High School

Marian Catholic High School is currently recruiting a professional to lead Communications/Admissions. This individual’s background includes:

  • 2+ years of marketing, public relations, or admissions work, preferably in a school or education-based nonprofit
  • Exceptional interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand the needs of the school and translate those needs into promotional and fundraising opportunities
  • 2-3 years project management experience
  • Excellent computer skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees the school’s retention efforts
  • Manages and oversees the school’s recruitment process to meet annual enrollment targets
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with partner schools
  • Manages open houses, tours, visits, and other interactions with prospective parents and students
  • Report regularly to Board of Trustees on admission activities and enrollment

Communication, Marketing, and Public Relations:

  • Oversees development of a marketing strategy and marketing materials
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with media outlets to promote the school
  • Schedule, plan and facilitate Marian participation in appropriate community events
  • Oversee development of print and electronic marketing materials
  • Create an internal communications plan
  • Create and lead social media plan for electronic communications
